Master’s Degree in Management and Digitalisation of QHSE Processes

The Master’s degree in QHSE Process Management and Digitalisation (MD-QHSE) at ESMAS is a Level 7 qualification registered with the RNCP. This two-year programme trains professionals with a strong awareness of quality, hygiene, safety, and environmental issues, equipping them to implement, manage, and improve management systems in these key areas of a business.

This programme is perfectly suited to QHSE managers who seek creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.

The ESMAS Master MD-QHSE prepares students to be fully operational from their first professional experience or to continue their studies at a Level 8 (Bac+4/5) cycle. Courses, conferences, masterclasses, and business games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their fields.

Programme objectives

The Master’s degree in QHSE Process Management and Digitalisation (MD-QHSE) at ESMAS is a State-recognised Level 7 qualification designed to achieve the following learning outcomes:

  • Acquire an in-depth knowledge of current standards and certifications (ISO 9001 for Quality, ISO 14001 for Environment, ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety, etc.).

  • Master key quality management tools (5M, Pareto and Gantt charts, brainstorming, etc.).

  • Master the principles of quality management.

  • Identify non-conformities and propose corrective and preventive actions.

  • Define and implement relevant control indicators.

  • Develop, implement, and evolve integrated QHSE management systems tailored to the company’s specificities.

  • Utilise and deploy digital tools (QHSE software, CMMS, Document Management Systems) to simplify document management, non-conformities, audits, and action plans.

  • Understand the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI, augmented reality) on QHSE issues and leverage data-driven approaches in QHSE missions.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, and 1 year for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s programme.
  • Work-study programme available.

Prerequisites

ENTRY LEVEL(S)

Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4

Prerequisites: The Master’s degree in QHSE Process Management and Digitalisation at ESMAS is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree / Licence or any other Level 6 qualification and, for entry into the second year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master 1 or have obtained a waiver from the certifying body.

Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.

Students entering the first year of the Master’s programme are required to validate all skills blocks

This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways.

Further Studies

This Master’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment.

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2026 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2027 intake remain open until 18 December.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

The MD-QHSE programme in the specialisation year is organised around two (2) axes:

  • Block 2: Design a Digital Project Following a UX Design Approach Adapting to AI

  • Block 3: Manage a Digital Project Using Agile Methodology, Draft the Functional Specification and Technical Requirements

  • Block 4: Develop an E-Marketing and Communication Strategy for a Digital Entrepreneurship Project with AI Assistance

  • Block 5: Conduct Studies and Prepare Reports in Business Intelligence and Corporate Strategy
