Master’s Degree in Sports Organisation Management
The Master’s degree in Sports Organisation Management (MS2) at ESMAS is a Level 7 qualification registered with the RNCP. This two-year programme trains versatile professionals capable of managing all aspects of a sports facility—whether it is a gym, sports complex, club, or swimming pool—while equipping them with cross-functional skills in the sports sector.
This programme is perfectly suited to the needs of professionals within sports organisations, who seek creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.
The ESMAS Master MS2 prepares students to be fully operational from their first professional experience. Courses, conferences, masterclasses, and business games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their fields.

Programme objectives
The Master’s degree in Sports Organisation Management (MS2) at ESMAS is a State-recognised Level 7 qualification designed to achieve the following learning outcomes:
Master the management of a sports facility.
Acquire an in-depth understanding of the regulatory framework governing sports facility management.
Develop a business development plan.
Implement a client portfolio growth strategy.
Understand QHSE requirements applicable to sports facilities.
Develop management and financial skills.
Enhance client relationships and ensure portfolio retention.
Lead facility development and improvement projects.
Duration
DURATION OF STUDIES:
- 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, and 1 year for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s programme.
- Work-study programme available.
Prerequisites
ENTRY LEVEL(S)
Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4
Prerequisites: The Master’s degree in Sports Organisation Management at ESMAS is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree / Licence or any other Level 6 qualification and, for entry into the second year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master 1 or have obtained a waiver from the certifying body.
Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.
Students entering the first year of the Master’s programme are required to validate all skills blocks
This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways.

Access deadlines
- Applications for the September 2026 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
- Applications for the deferred January 2027 intake remain open until 18 December.
Modalities
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
- By the employer,
- At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
- By a student or their legal guardian
- Work-study is available from the third year onwards
Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.
